Recent scientific achievements

  • The list of our publications in 2014 year includes 27 articles, mostly published in high-tier probability journals such as Stochastic Processes and its Applications or Topology and its Applications.
  • As of April 1, 2015, we have 8 papers published in 2015 and 5 preprints. The detailed information concerning our publications can be found here.
  • At the end of 2014 year Assoc. Prof. Ihor Samoilenko has successfully defended his habilitation thesis.

  • "Asymptotics of the number of zero decrements in a random walk with barrier" (2014). Supported by a grant of National scientific fund of Lithuania — Alexander Iksanov and Mindaugas Blosnelis (Vilnius).
  • "Limit theorems for random regenerative structures" (2014). Prize for young scientists awarded by National Academy of Science of Ukraine — Alexander Marynych.
  • "Recurrence/transience of stochastic difference equations" (2015). Supported by a fellowship grant of Muenster university (Germany) — Alexander Iksanov.
  • Taras Shevchenko Prize of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (2015) — Alexander Iksanov and Alexander Marynych.
  • Fellowship grant of Alexander von Humboldt foundation (Germany) (2015-2016) — Alexander Marynych.
  • Joint project with geographic department aimed at creating an electronic map of Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities (2015-2016) — Alexander Iksanov and Serhii Polotskyi.
